§ 3-3. Public possession.

  • (a)

    In this section "alcoholic beverage" includes intoxicating liquor and nonintoxicating beer.

    (b)

    No person shall possess any alcoholic beverage on any street, alley or sidewalk within the city except in the original package with the seal unbroken.

    (c)

    Subsection (b) does not prohibit the possession of an alcoholic beverage in an establishment licensed to sell same for on-premises consumption.
