§ 2-320. Employment of personnel.

(a)

The board of public works may appoint and employ for the purpose of operating the water, electric and sewage disposal departments such officers and employees as may be necessary, at such salaries or wages as may be just and fair for the type and amount of work done and compatible with, but not in excess of, compensation paid for similar work in similar communities in the area.

(b)

All appointees shall be under the supervision and control of the board of public works, and shall be appointed to hold their respective positions at the pleasure of the board, and shall perform such services as may be prescribed by the board.
