§ 2-132. Duties of mayor pro tem.

In addition to all other duties, the mayor pro tem shall be active in the promotion of the city. In furtherance of these duties the mayor pro tem shall be a member of the public relations committee of the council. In addition the mayor pro tem shall be kept advised by all city officials of all efforts for economic development within the city and shall be appointed the member of any committee for economic development for the city. The mayor pro tem shall also be available to consult with the mayor, at the mayor's request, on appointment of council committees, boards of the city and any other items which the mayor requests.
