§ 23-409. Marking of parking spaces; parking within lines.

  • Officers or employees of the city shall place lines or marks on the curb or on the street about or along side of each parking space for any person to designate the parking space and each vehicle shall park within the lines or markings so established. It shall be unlawful for any person to park any vehicle across any such lines or marks or to park a vehicle in such a way that the same is not within the area so designated by such lines or markings. This section shall apply to all marked municipal parking lots.
