§ 23-182. Motorcycles—Term defined; protective headgear required.

(a)

Motorcycle defined. For the purpose of this section, the term "motorcycle" shall mean any self-propelled vehicle not operated exclusively upon tracks, which is operated on two (2) wheels.

(b)

Protective headgear required. Every person operating or riding as a passenger on a motorcycle, as defined above, on the public streets of the city shall wear protective headgear at all times the vehicle is in motion. The protective headgear shall meet reasonable standards and specifications as established by the Director of Revenue of the State of Missouri.
