§ 22-83. Waiver of requirements for new subdivisions.

The city council has the right to waive any requirements set forth in Chapter 22, Article IV, of the Carthage Code for new subdivisions annexed into the city providing that such subdivisions are platted in such a manner as to provide lots of a size no smaller than twenty-nine thousand (29,000) square feet. Nothing in this section shall be construed as requiring the city to waive the subdivision regulations but shall be viewed as being permissive only.
