§ 21-274. Creation of tree board.

Said board shall consist of five (5) voting members, at least eighteen (18) years of age, appointed by the mayor with approval of the city council. No more than (1) member of said board serving at any one (1) time shall be a nonresident of the City of Carthage. Said member must be residential, business customer or representative of commercial customers of Carthage Water & Electric Plant (CW & EP). No more than one (1) member of the board can be employed by the same employer. In all cases, such member of the board shall live within five (5) miles of the Carthage city limits.
