§ 21-226. Authority to place in streets and alleys.

Any telegraph, telephone, or other company doing business in the city or desiring to do business in the city, and using poles to carry wires for the transmission of electric power or current may set its poles, wires, and other fixtures along, across, or under any of the public streets and alleys of the city, subject, however, to the provisions of this article.
